National Assembly Approves New Investment Draft Law And Other Laws on Economy & Trade
Compass Cambodia report, September 10 – Three draft laws have been approved by The National Assembly of Cambodia, which will be used as new mechanisms to enhance domestic, regional and global economic growth, trade and investments.
This was approved by Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly at the 6th session of the National Assembly, 6th Legislature on the morning of 9 September 2021.
The draft laws approved by the National Assembly include:
1) Draft Law on Investment of the Kingdom of Cambodia
2) Draft Law on the Approval of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement
3) Draft Law on the Approval of the Free Trade Agreement between the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the People’s Republic of China
These draft laws will allow the Government to develop and build the nation and serve as a core framework for promoting trade, investments, regional opportunities, markets, corporations and individuals throughout the country and region.
